Kathleen's family is amazing. Here she is with her parents and brothers. She is unbelievably grateful for them and all her family. Kathleen has two nieces and four nephews. She loves spoiling them.

In 2011, Kathleen began taekwondo at Harlem TKD. TKD was better for her body than physical therapy! Kathleen's TKD family is accepting, kind, and full of fun. In 2019, a year into MBC, Kathleen earned her black belt!
Kathleen has been an active member of the Church of St. Francis Xavier in the Chelsea 'hood in NYC. She serves as a disability advocate, liturgical minister, and member of several justice-related ministries. Xavier is an important anchor in Kathleen's life.
Since her MBC diagnosis, Kathleen has jumped in as a patient advocate. Here she is with some members of her advocacy training team. Kathleen loves her compadres in the MBC community and hopes to make MBC a better experience for people with disabilities.
Top priority is staying as healthy as possible. Bucket list: write and publish memoir, take Amtrak across the country, make memories with family and friends. She'll be open to where life leads.
